With all due respect, my lady, why must I feast on a human's blood? I have lived for many years off of only animals found in the woods.

[glow=blood,2,300][shadow=black,left,300]It is a matter of principle. A vampire, by nature, is a member of a superior species. We do not age, we do not die with great frequency, and we have perfected the art of death. If we deign to feed upon humanity, it should be seen as a mark of great honor for the kine...they are the beings most suited to the life of cattle, and so we treat them as such. Our role in this land is that of balance, of regulation. If we are to remain as such, we must remain strong. We must feed. It is...unecessary to limit oneself to mercy and kindness. You must rise above this. Now, shall we go?[/shadow][/glow]

*Persephone stood, looking Greyfell in the eyes No, I will not go. If we are so mighty, then why can we not walk under the sun without pain? Even the "cattle" you speak of can do that.

[glow=blood,2,300][shadow=black,left,300]Even the children of the kine cannot walk under the sun; their skin burns just as yours would. It is a matter of age. As we live longer, so too do we remain longer as children...and for that matter, child, we are not the sole beneficiaries of the human-vampire relationship. Familiars are protected and cared for, as well as given everything their hearts could possibly desire. They are far from unwilling. If you would live within my lands, I command that you bow to me in this matter. In a few short centuries, perhaps you will feel differently. If not, it is a small matter for an old vampire to feed from animals. One as young as yourself, however, requires the superior nutrition that is provided by the blood of the kine. Now, to feed. Please. You should feel honored; most are not given as much lenience as you. It is ony by virtue of your...stunted education that I have afforded you this much leeway in your behavior. Now come.[/shadow][/glow]

[glow=blood,2,300][shadow=black,left,300]Then leave my lands. Prepare for a short and lonely existence. If you change your ways, I shall permit you to return. Until then, be gone from my holdings. May the night hide you.[/shadow][/glow]
Lady Greyfell summons a guard to escort Persephone to the borders of her territory. She then turned to her knight, Lestat de Lioncourt, for a report on the situation of the horde.

Persephone exited the castle, flanked by the queen's guards. She headed towards the gate that led out of the dark underworld, and into a whole new world of caois and evil

*there was a loud "crash" heard outside the doors of the citadel, Emperor Keygonryu had landed on the outside, his wings folded in, one was a shining white, the other was a torn up night black, mass power could be felt from both, but he himself seemed so nonchalant about it, he walked toward the doors and gave a loud dramatic knock *

[glow=blood,2,300][shadow=black,left,300]Dragon lord, why have you come to my palace? What is it that you want--or more apropriately, what is the fastest way I can get you to leave? I do not kindly tolerate intrusions.[/shadow][/glow]

*Keygonryu chuckled a bit*
looks like someone is in a bad mood today, what troubles you my lady?
*he turned his head from side to side, there was a loud crack heard from the joints of his neck*

[glow=blood,2,300][shadow=black,left,300]Why, emperor, it is merely a matter of principle. One does not simply storm into the citadel of a vampire queen for casual conversation. Now, either give me the reason for your impromptu visit, or be gone.[/shadow][/glow]

*he grinned a bit showing his fangs partially, not in a threatening manner, but purely out of nature*
I must admit, you have me there, but if you must know, it is the ghouls, they have been acting strange, you see, I first tried o house them in the barracks of the dark descended, but for some reason they got into fights, then I tried to house them with my descended, but they tried to teach them things, and they freaked out, I now have them in a steel box, what should I do about this?

[glow=blood,2,300][shadow=black,left,300]It's really quite simple. Ghouls, just as any other vampires, require feeding. They are, however, less...refined than true vampires. A Ghoul requires live prey. House them underground and drop them game...prisoners, if at all possible, and they will calm.[/shadow][/glow]

*he chuckled a bit again*
very good then, I do believe I can give them something to keep their attention
*he looked at her for a moment, his eyes seemed docile for the black slits that served as his iris's*
you know, I have a certain talent for telling when one is upset about things, feel free to keep it to yourself if you want, but would it happen to have anything with the fair maiden that I saw exiting your castle when I landed?
