I would like to suggest the creation of a Dueling Arena, for free use by players outside of the normal RP. In my personal experience in years of RPing, many people wish to match themselve against other players, but are unwilling to risk death, are unable to find a logical reason to duel the chosen opponent, or are unable to duel without allies from both sides interfering. To this end, and Arena, in which challenges, either open, or directed, can be issued, and duels fought any time, with no fear of interference or storyline death

ah yes, an arena, a grand idea, with a good basis for it as well.
I will tell you, the admins and myself will be working on such a place, where RPists can go and have awesome duels, thank you for submitting this ;D

There is something of an arena in the Castle of the Forsaken, but, knowing the Emperor, he will want to question you as to what you are doing in his realm.

Ah... Could we, perhaps, devise an upgrade to this Inter-Dimensional Rift?
This could be an EXCELLENT place to keep the two-character conversations that MIGHT have some use to other players.
Like, say, a guy and a girl character hook up at the Mile High Dance Club in Skytopia. They chat, they dance, and Ooh! Nobody but them cares! D= But, say they happen to touch down on the topic of an epic fire stone of ultimate doom. That could be important, right? But, GASP! Nobody read their short posts. So later, when everybody else is like,
'WHAT THE EFF?! FIRE STONE?!' after the boy and the girl go destroy a few galaxies, the conversation that included it is conveniently archived in that inter-dimensional rift, INSTEAD of inflating a location thread.
That way, the information is available to everyone, but they don't have to scroll through quite so many pages upon pages of dialogue posts that don't matter to them in order to get to the things they care about in location threads.
This is how it'd go down.
Two characters meet in a location thread. Right? They know that they'll be making low-content posts for awhile once they start talking. So, they simply state that they're talking in that location thread. And then they make a thread in the Rift to hold the fine details of that conversation. Conversation takes place. Conversation ends. The two characters' Roleplaying returns to the location thread!

What makes that different than Chat, PMs, and other threads is as follows:
CHAT: Great for planning moves, but it's not recorded for anybody. Once the chat is left, nobody has a concrete archive for what happened.
PM: Great for planning moves again, but it's only recorded for the two people; and what's worse, each person only has half of it! They'd have to go on a Cut & Paste frenzy to put it all together again.
Forum Thread: Yes, it's perfectly held for everybody to see, but there are a lot of people that DON'T. WANT. TO SEE IT. Trying to scroll through, page by page, to find an individual post that applies to you is very difficult when there's a lot of back-and-forth banter between two charcters.
This Conversation Rift would keep some of the near-meaningless conversations out of the location threads, assuming that people would use it.

I eill be makikng different forums for these kind of things, one is going to be the arena, and I guess another would be what you are talking about kyle, a place to record important conversations relevent to a story line........I think it will be called the Dimensional Archives
