A detachment of Shades runs upon the land as wolves, coursing towards the head of the demonic encampment. They bring a message from Lady Greyfell.
[glow=blood,2,300][shadow=black,left,300]Lord Beelzebub, please accept my support...solidarity and all that being, I suppose, essential, I have placed another portion of my army at your disposal. If you will lead the ground assault, my people can take the skies.[/shadow][/glow]

The Airships rain gunpowdery doom upon all nonhuman occupants of the grasslands... Mostly consisting of small game. They disembark from their crafts (save for the pilots) and rush towards the fortress.
"FOR THE SUNLIT LANDS!"

The Shade battalions, ready and waiting as the moon rises, are standing ready...or, creeping, rather...to meet the detachment of humans. Death is swift and silent on wolves' paws.

With a few hundred crazed battlecries, the men rushed towards the Shades, each in parties of four or five, as the airships took to the skies again. With the small aircraft providing support (however small-- Even the most dexterious of pilots can only control two of the stationary guns at a time and still control the movement of the craft) , the humans gained ground quickly, and seemed inexhaustable. Peter himself ran in lead of the troops, boosting their morale to the point that physical fatigue seemed impossible.
