This is a place of ancient trees and terrifying beasts. Many vampires hunt here to supplement and add flavor to their normal diet of mortal blood. The moonlight silhouettes the tree’s leaves in such a manner as to render them as hands, grabbing at passers-by, discouraging most mortal travel, though some do traverse these grounds…for a while.

[glow=blood,2,300][shadow=black,left,300]Under the rising moon, Lady Greyfell leads a hunting party through the woods...a human contingent has been detected, and they are true fools...they travel in the day, and they sleep in the night...fools...damned, dying fools...[/shadow][/glow]

The noisy ruffling of makeshift wings being flapped coasts through the quiet sky over the dark forest. A few yellowed feathers are whisked away by the air whooshing past, but the wings, as always, hold firm.
"You SWEAR that after this, it's over, Acarius?" "Yes, yes, I promise!" "I will NO LONGER owe you this favor? This is the LAST time you'll use it?" "Uh-huh! I swear! Just do it, silly!" "You know how dangerous this is, right? You know how much of a moron I am for letting you talk me into this?!" "A big one! I promise!" "Uggh! Just... Put me down. Stay close." "Will do, Sypral. I promise that, too."
With a deeply banked curve, the angelic figure swooped down and to the right, releasing his brother into a rather uncomfortable sideways roll against the ground. He then gracefully shot back upwards, utilizing the momentum he had gained in the descent, into a tree. Finally at rest, the wooden harness keeping the false wings in place were visable upon his chest, but when in motion, one could swear that he must've been an angel.
"You'd better be able to get me out of this. She'll be here any moment. You know how she detects intruders instantaneously, don't you?" "Pfft. When have I ever NOT been able to save your butt?" "Whenever I got blamed for your mistakes at home, for starters." "Well, yeah, but to save YOU, I'd have to take the blame myself." "Just get hidden. If she sees you, we're both toast." "I can't wait to see this. I can't wait to see the LOOK on her face!"
Acarius grinned widely and giggled at the prospect of the Lady Greyfell's stare of bewilderment. It was such a childish joy-- So pure, so immature.
"Shh-shh-shh!! I think I hear her coming!" Acarius whispered just loud enough for his brother to hear from the ground. The winged man snuck into a convergence of two particularly leafy branches-- the best cover available at the time and place. He could only truly be seen if he moved.
"You're crazy. I didn't hear anything..." Sypral replied, not turning to look at his brother. Though he in fact did hear nothing, his eyes roamed about the forest, and his legs fell into a defensive position.
He could only hope that Greyfell's curiosity would prevent her from slaying him at first sight. A human, so poorly armored and armed, standing still in her forest, neither advancing nor retreating could be enough to earn her questioning. Surely his brother could whisk him away quickly enough for him to be safe in any other scenario, but if she attacked right away...
Sypral shivered at the thought. This was the dumbest, most risky, most inane, and least necessary thing he had ever done, and quite possibly, would ever do. He hoped that he would live to tell the tale.
"Lady Greyfell! Send me not thine servants!"

*Shuryian slowly walked through the dark forest, inhailing the smells of vampires, humans, and Lycans all around him. His heart started to pound into an intense motion. Smileing from the joy of a hunt Shuryian made his way forward in the direction of what seemed to be a Lycan by himself*

*Shuryian walked out of the dark dense woods into a clearing only to see a lycan sitting next to a camp fire, not really paying much attention to me just watching the fire. Shuryian slowly made his way next to the man and smiled he sensed an odd feeling towards him, as though he could trust him.*
Tell me Lycan what brings you out here on this dark night. Dont you know its dangerous for your kind here.

My name is Shuryian, I am young but by 300 years though. Dont worry vampires dont like me much so they tend to leave me alone so were fine for now. But i dont think you need to worry.
*Shuryian sits down next to the fire staring at intensly, Shuryian took out a small dagger and made a small slit into his arm and let it drain into a cup of silver he had in a bag at his side. Once the cup was full he placed it in the very center of the fire in the embers and let it stare their while they talked*

The hunting party changes course--Lady Greyfell has scented Lycans in her forest. The humans are forgotten for the moment.
[glow=blood,2,300][shadow=black,left,300]Lucian, you wretch, I'll not take kindly to your presence in my lands. Go now, and live to fight again![/shadow][/glow]
The hunting party, swiftly coursing towards the Lycan scent, is a formidable foe--too formidable for one man to stand against. Could discretion, perhaps, truly be the better part of valour?

*Lucian turned away as the silver cup shone in his eyes but he did not mind the vampire seemed freindly and not as popas as the vampires of the war*
"Well you are welcome at my camp Shuryian I am Lucian I once waged war with the vampires but since then I have scatered my Lycan brothers"
*Lucian turned back once the cup was in the fire*

*Shuryian looked at the queen and gave a her a sarcastic smile*
My dear queen, why has someone of your status even bothered with this simple Lycan. Has your life become so dull that you had to put yourself in such a place. My how embaressed I am to say that my queen is you. Oh but wait thats right your kind stole me away from my people. I was fine as an dark elf but I see even your kind are greedy enough to take what they cant have.
*Shuryian picked up the silver cup full of his own blood and took a wiff of the aromas. Smiling he downed it, and bowed to the queen, that of an insulting kind of way*

[glow=blood,2,300][shadow=black,left,300]If you truly believe that I have little better to do with my time, then you are a fool...however, I had scented the stench of this wet dog and was in the mood for sport. If you cannot show the proper deference and continue to associate freely with scum such as this, you will be treated similarly. As for you, Lycan, be gone from my lands. Now. I will not tolerate such incursions. Be grateful for the one chance I give you for survival--go back to your pack of squealing, whining mutts or face the consequences.[/shadow][/glow]
The bulk of Lady Greyfell's hunting party returns to the Citadel. Lady Greyfell herself remains, with six of her finest warriors.
[glow=blood,2,300][shadow=black,left,300]Lycan, these shall see you peacefully to the edges of my lands, if you wish to live a little longer. You, Shuryian, shall walk with me to my Citadel. I would palaver with you as to the nature of your impudence. Your youth alone saves you now.[/shadow][/glow]

*Lucian rushed off at a hightened speed towards the border*
